DESIGN AN HEIRLOOM
YOUR VISION, MY CRAFTSMANSHIP
When you commission a custom piece of memorial jewelry, you'll work with me, one on one, to design your jewelry from the ground up.
You will end up with an heirloom piece, entirely unique to you, that can be passed down for generations.
HOW IT WORKS
JOIN THE LIST
Once your spot opens up, you'll receive a deposit invoice.
If you would like to accept the commission spot, you have 15 days to pay the invoice and start the design process.
Spots not claimed within 15 days will be forfeit to the next person in line.
DEPOSIT
A $199 deposit is required to begin the design process. While this deposit is non-refundable, it acts as a down payment on your project, and will be applied to the final price of your piece.
SURVEY
After deposit, you will fill out a guided design survey. It will help me understand your needs and preferences, discuss customization options, and how we can best memorialize your loved one.
VIDEO CONSULTATION
After the survey, we’ll schedule a quick video chat to hash out remaining details and answer any questions you may have.
You can expect the consultation call to last 15 to 30 minutes. Calls are held via Google Meet.
DESIGN PREVIEW
From here, I get to work digitizing your personal details and piecing them together into a rendering of your final product.
You will receive mockups and collaborate with feedback.
Three revisions request may be made without incurring additional costs.
APPROVAL
Once you love the final design you will pay the remaining balance to initiate production.
From here, it’s up to me to saw, shape, solder, and set your heirloom before packing it up for it’s journey home to you.
DELIVERY DAY
You’ll sign for delivery and grab your tissues before tearing in to your Scripted Jewelry. There may be tears.
SHARE
If you feel compelled, I’d love for you to share it to socials or provide a quick testimonial about your experience.
As a small craftsman, word of mouth is priceless!
FAQS
The base price of my one of a kind memorials is $575. Certain design choices will raise the price.
These will be clearly defined in the Design Guide (linked below) so you have an understanding of how your choices affect price.
Installments are available on request.
All commissions must be paid in full prior to shipment.
Currently the estimate time on the waitlist is: 2-4 weeks
Once your deposit is accepted and design work begins, the turnaround time in studio is roughly 4-6 weeks.
I consider myself a silversmith by trade.
My work is done mainly in sterling silver, brass and bronze.
These metals have been used for centuries in jewelry making and when properly cared for they make beautiful jewelry at a much more attainable price point than gold.
Custom commissions are final sale.
Days will be spent digitally building your design and seeking your guidance before ever moving to the bench where the metal is handcrafted to your exact specifications. The result is one of kind and completely personal to you.
That said, there are two points of exit in a commission transaction.
During the first design phase (survey and consultation), if it comes to light that I may not be the best artist for your project, I will happily refund your deposit and we can part ways.
Once a project has entered digital design and mockups, your deposit becomes non-refundable. You do still have the choice to walk away (less the deposit) without proceeding to production.
After you've approved the design and it has entered production, the full purchase price is non-refundable.
