FINDING YOUR RING SIZE
Finding the perfect ring size is crucial to ensure comfort and security. Below are four methods for finding your ring size listed from most to least accurate.
CONSIDER THE WIDTH OF THE RING BAND
Before determining your ring size, it's important to consider the width of the ring band you are purchasing. Wider ring bands often require you to size up to ensure a comfortable fit. A ring that is too tight can be uncomfortable and restrict finger movement, so make sure you can bend your fingers easily while taking your measurement.
Get Professionally Sized
Many local jewelers will size you at no cost. They have calibrated metal sizers and the knowledge needed to give you the right measurement for the style of ring you are purchasing.
REQUEST A SIZER
I am happy to send my clients a complimentary plastic ring sizer. These are a convenient and accurate way to measure your ring size at home.

MEASURE A RING
Visit the jewelry department at your local department store. Try on rings similar in style to the one you plan to purchase.
Once you find a ring that fits well, compare its diameter to the circles below.
This is a less accurate option as you need to make sure the graphic is perfectly calibrated to get a good measurement.
AVOID PAPER SIZERS
Paper ring sizers found online are usually very inaccurate. These cut-out sizers can easily stretch or be cut incorrectly, leading to an improper measurement.
COMPARE YOUR RING SIZE
SCALE GRAPHIC BEFORE MEASURING!
Line up your credit card, a quarter or a ruler to the scale indicators on the graphic until they are the exact same size.
You can then proceed to compare the inside diameter of your ring band to find the best match.
The difference between two full ring sizes is about one millimeter. It is easy to take an incorrect measurement. Take your time and measure multiple times to be safe.
